The Relationship Between the Horoscope and the Celestial Proximity Rate
When conducting a reading, new moons, full moons, Mercury retrograde, the conjunction of Venus and Jupiter, the movement of Mars, and major celestial movements such as those of Saturn and Neptune are important elements for understanding the overall flow of a given period.
In addition to the celestial placements shown in the horoscope, Sixteen-Ring Divination adds depth by considering the proximity rates of the Sun, the Moon, and each planet, helping to identify which celestial themes are more likely to resonate strongly.
By assessing these influences from different angles, Sixteen-Ring Divination examines which celestial symbols are more likely to resonate with each of the 16 types. This is one of the core methods of interpretation within this system.
For example, even during the same full moon period, a type strongly influenced by the Moon may experience it more as a theme of emotions or emotional safety, while a type strongly influenced by Venus may experience it more as a review of relationships or personal values.
In other words, the horoscope shows “the flow of the stars taking place during that period.” The Celestial Proximity Rate is Sixteen-Ring Divination’s original indicator for reading which celestial themes are more likely to resonate with each type within that flow.
By combining these two perspectives, Sixteen-Ring Divination reads the differences in how each type receives and expresses the same astrological flow in a more layered and multidimensional way.
